“We have a smallish lot at the end of a dead end in Lynn. Since one side of the house has a deck that runs up to the property line, the only way we could create a wheelchair accessible path to my yard would be through the 5-6' wide strip of yard on the other side of the house.
Three outfits came by to give us an estimate, and Dan was both the cheapest quote and the most personable. I liked that he explained the process, described what parts of the yard would get dug up and pointed out that hand digging would disturb less but cost more in labor than machine digging would.
He was easily reachable by email, which I vastly prefer to phone contact, and responded quickly to questions. A rainy spring delayed the start a bit, but he stuck to his revised start date and finished the job just a few days after starting it. He and one worker completed the project while disturbing my yard and my neighbors as little as possible. I was super happy with how the walkway and patio turned out and with how many of my plants and flowers in the tight space along the walk survived the process. A week later, the walk looked like it had always been there.
